Curtly Ambrose

Sir Curtly Ambrose is an Antiguan former cricketer who played for the West Indies. For much of his career, he was rated the best bowler in the world.
Since leaving professional cricket, Ambrose has pursued a career in music as a bass guitarist.
Stuart Chipperfield
Stuart is a Chartered Tax Advisor and has been with MHA since 2013, he has worked within private client tax for over 16 years.
Having started his career with HM Revenue & Customs he has gained useful insight into ‘the other side of the fence’.
Stuart has particular experience helping clients involved in the healthcare, legal and property sectors deal with their Income Tax, Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax issues. He also advises individuals on residence and domicile issues including the use of Trust structures.
Stuart prides himself on his attentive and friendly demeanour which he believes helps build trusting and long lasting relationships with his clients. Outside of work Stuart is a keen cricketer and is actively involved in the running of his local club.

Scott joined Azets as an Audit associated in 2021 and has since become an Audit Assistant Manager.
After finishing his degree from the University of Southampton, Scott joined the team and has been excelling in his career ever since.

Asad Shah

Asad is one of the Associates at the Enfield office and looks after a variety of clients in the property, telecommunications, care, leisure, events management, recruitment and financial services sectors.
Asad joined the firm 2013 as a trainee, and after a series of promotions he is now responsible for controlling and monitoring audit assignments, ensuring that they are delivered in an efficient and timely manner. Apart from audit, Asad enjoys advising clients on various tax compliance and planning matters.

Paul Matthews

Paul is the Managing Director at Hilden Park Accountants. His focus is on working closely with clients, supporting the development of businesses at a strategic level in addition to providing the necessary compliance services. Paul has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of auditing, accounting, taxation, finance and IT systems.
He gained a degree in Accountancy & Finance from the University of Southampton and trained with a leading practice in East Sussex, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. Paul then joined Spokes & Co (now Hilden Park Accountants) and four years later led the management buy-out of the practice.

Graham Powling

Graham joined Platt Rushton in 1995 and, after having trained with the firm, qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He was promoted to partner in 2009 and since that time he has continued to develop his professional skills, focussing particularly on the delivery of our audit and assurance services.
His wealth of experience in personal tax matters encompasses capital gains tax and inheritance tax mitigation.
Away from work, Graham enjoys spending time with his family and over-enthusiastic Labrador. He is active in his local church and relaxes by listening to music and catching the odd game of cricket.
Neil Dobson
Neil has worked in Financial Services for over 20 years now, starting as a Financial Adviser with TSB back in the late 90’s. During his career, he has held various positions including managing teams of Financial Advisers and Mortgage Brokers as well as running his own company.
Neil truly believes that being an independent adviser means he can find the best solutions to help people meet goals and objectives.
In his spare time he keeps fit having competed in many triathlons and marathons.

Paul Bridgeman

Paul joined Clive Emson in December 2014 and is the Regional Director & Auctioneer for the Essex office.
He first took to the rostrum in Glasgow in October 2006 and then went on to sell in various locations around the UK. Paul is a past president of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) and is very passionate about our profession and pushing for higher standards in the industry.
Away from the office Paul enjoys music and most sports especially rugby, football, cricket, motor racing and organises the annual Clive Emson Charity Karting events.

Phil Hammond

Phil joined Ayers & Cruiks in May 2024 to lead the Finance Team. He joins us with over 25 years accounting experience in various industries ranging from Private Equity, Pensions and Property.
Phil usually spends his winters coaching youth football teams in Southend and in the summer donning his whites for Rayleigh CC.
